Good Vibes from this yin yang ☯

I had some free time today so I drew this pen and ink yin yang. I really liked how it turned out. Not sure what I'm going to do with it though. (The first one has a couple of iPhone filters on it)

Just a quick sketch. 

I'm an oil paint kind of girl. I absolutely love how watercolor looks though. Recently, I've had an itch to try out water color. I finally bit the bullet and bought a kit today. I opened it as soon as a got home and realized I didn't have a watercolor palette. Oops. I opted to put it in dixie cups, which ended up being a horrible idea (the paper cups dried out the paint very quickly). I did my best to work with what I had. I played around and created this. It was my first try at watercolor and I can't wait to do more, especially with a proper palette.

Welcome to Carrot Fairy Tales! Summer is in full force as July is coming to an end. Music festivals, swimming, and friends occupy most of my time, but when I'm not busy I enjoy art, photography, and fashion, as well as many other things.
